Parks and gardens tour

Main content

Since the 19th century, parks and gardens have played a vital role in the social and everyday life of Guadalajara, becoming places where residents can meet and relax.

Two locations have traditionally been the focus of attention for the people of Alcarria: Concordia Park, with its iconic bandstand, and San Roque Park, popularly known as the ‘ducklings’ park’, both of which are deeply rooted in the city’s collective memory.

This route invites you to explore Guadalajara’s main green spaces, which today define its urban character and reflect the pride of a city renowned for having one of the largest areas of green space per capita.

  • La Concordia Park
  • San Roque Park
  • Huerta de San Antonio Park
  • Alamín Lineal Park
  • Municipal Zoo
