This museum space, dedicated to the great playwright born in Guadalajara, has been created in the Palacio de la Cotilla.

This section aims to shed light on two aspects of Buero: his most private life and his lesser-known side—his early vocation as a painter. Visitors can thus view several of his paintings, including self-portraits of the writer and portraits of his mother and sister.

In addition, thanks to a loan from his family, the exhibition features the study that Buero Vallejo had in his Madrid home, complete with all the original furniture and belongings, such as family portraits, an old typewriter, and the desk and armchair where he wrote some of his most famous works.

Free admission.
