Francisco Sobrino Ochoa, born in Guadalajara the 19th September of 1932, is one of the main exponents of kinetic art. His work, portrayed in several museums, has reached international recognition. He became the founder of the GRAV (Visual Art Investigation Group) in 1960, which brought him the opportunity of investigating new creational lines, including the mastery of the three dimensions.

This permanent collection has been organized according to chronological criteria. Thus, it starts en 1959 with some pieces bought by the Municipal Town Council. As well, some other pieces have been donated or lent by the artist himself.
